It's March. The sun wants the snow back and is beating down on the terraces of the mountain restaurants. Dedicated skiers sit at wooden tables, equally determined not to let go of the cold white stuff. At least not without a fight, as they take to the slopes and wind their way down pistes that glisten with a radiance rivalling that of the sun.
